Our new baby Daisy

Probably not a great time for a new puppy but she's a doll!

How cute! What breed is she? And when is your own litter due?

She's a pug/beagle mix. The yuppies call them puggle hybrids in these parts, we just call her an expensive mutt. 10 more weeks and counting. I can't get put on bedrest for anything!!

My friend recently got a Bison Frise-talk about expensive pooches!

This can't be the most comfortable time of year to be waddling around with extra baggage. The heat is killing me as is.

Hysterical Good one bawdy, but I've always found that a clock, put in its sleeping area, works really good if the puppy is whining or crying at night. Alarm Clock Just remember, DON'T set the alarm!!! LOL

rusty is right

and wrap the old style tic-toc clock in some old clothes.  Believe it or not the best thing is to wrap it up in that days laundry (the pup will be comforted by your smell  and hear the clock heart)  >>> No wise cracks, bawdy!

I have the people that bring their dogs to stay with me, leave a zip-locked baggie with the last thing the owner wore.  It has helped even the oldest of dogs through the first night.

also, crate train her http://www.inch.com/~dogs/cratetraining.html

My dogs were mad at me when I got rid of their crates....they loved sleeping in them, even when they no longer fit in them.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! She's been better since we took her out of the crate and let her have free run of the kitchen. She even goes on the pee pee pads already while we are gone! I didn't know puppies were so smart. I'm going to buy the clock and wrap it in some clothes to keep in her bed. Thanks again!
