No problem with the "hijacking"......tis okay with me, since I've not been able to get on here to discuss this topic anyhow...LOL


Sorry to let Bawdy down, but I'm not in jail yet....the step-son has officially moved back in with us.  *sigh*   So my seizure doc called me in some meds that are suppose to help me handle some of this stress.


I'll write more when I can and let ya know how it is going!!!

Well, Steve should make it clear to him that it's YOUR house and he must abide by YOUR ground rules, and that includes showing you respect. But if he's going to be a source of stress, he deserves the heave-ho, relative or not.

I agree, especially being the age he is. He knows better. It's not like you are getting him as a toddler where you can discipline and correct. He should not be able to come in and take over or treat you like garbage.

You are so sweet, I am sure you are a sweet step Mom as well.

Hey ya'll...just stoppin in real quick to let ya know that I'm not dead, insane or in jail yet....or well, at least dead or in jail...LOL


I've read over ya'lls posts and thank you for your advice....I'm hangin in there, there's just LOTS going on here right now....so I can't get online much. 


I'll keep ya posted....until then, take notes of anything fun and exciting that I might be missing!!!

She's a morning person. Isn't that reason enough? heh

I imagine a lot of step-parents get some hostility because they're perceived to be trying to replace the other parent in the child's mind and they want to make it clear they never can.
