RIght now my favorite commerical is on the Lifetime channel. It's an ad for the movie "Fighting the Odds...The Marilyn Gambrell story"
It looks exactly like a made for TV version of "Dangerous Minds". I am not moved by her dedication to the poor inner city kids. I get a cynical kick out of it. All she is doing is YELLING and SCREAMING at the kids during the whole ad. She is yelling, screaming, breaking up knife fights..and still manages to find time to give everyone a hug.
It looks TRES cheesy. But then again, I love cheese.
I don't know if you get the same ads in the U.S., but I've really liked all the Dairy Queen commercials the past couple of years. They're almost all funny. Whoever is responsible is very funny.
There's a State Farm ad now that's pretty good where the wife runs over her husband's foot in the driveway. When she says the whole process was painless and the husband says, "Well not entirely painless..." and the wife cuts him off mid-sentence, her delivery is priceless.
Really? I didn't find that funny at all. Were you the one who watched that Baby Bob sitcom which aired for about two episodes before it was mercifully canned?
Citibank Credit Card Commercial where they show a guy through out his life graduation from college, marriage, kids, grandkids and the song in the back ground has the lyrics "I'm 22 for a moment..." kinda sad, but hell my life seems to have gone by in 30 seconds. Anyway, I think it's sweet and it makes me teary eyed.
My all time favorite is the frogs singing "Bud" "wise" "er" in the pond, I think it was a super bowl commercial.

A half asleep Monday morning answer...the guy that rides his new lawn mower, new house, new car, country club membership and then deadpans the answer to the question, How do I do it? I'm in debt up to my eyeballs.
